Seattle’s BABY GUNS fashion pop songs through a funereal filter. Hawkish bass synths, bleary guitars, and fierce machine and acoustic drums give rise to simple, seductive music with redemptive afterglow. In the vein of Cocteau Twins, Julee Cruise, Nine Inch Nails, My Bloody Valentine, and Slowdive, BABY GUNS is warm music for haunted houses and noir movies. Recent press includes the Seattle Times, and various music blogs in the US and Europe. Their first release, Kingdom Come is now out on the Los Angeles cassette label, Living Tapes.
