Goldie Wilson blasts out of the box knee deep in reverb and echo and awash in roots....they create their own alternate universe of music, familiar yet descriptively elusive. The great thing is, when you get it (and keep in mind that some songs take multiple hearings) it's way more than you can imagine. And even better, it won't wear out. Consider it a challenge.

The band really conjures the spirits of ‘60s psychedelic rock and The Beach Boys...Mike gives out some blistering guitar that will please both the young cats and the old timers.

The Drums crash like fine Motown, the guitars have a twangy 50’s/early 60’s quality, while there are some lovely new wave synth melodies played over driving pixies style bass lines. The lead vocals feature some wonderful interplay between the deep male vocals and the frothy female counterpart.
JCSS has been spinning the seattle area for the past 3 years.
We only spin original reggae, ska and rocksteady from the 60's and 70's.
Sounds are only spun from 45's. We continue the tradition of keeping alive the original jamaican soundsystem and original dancehall selections.
