“The best blistering-hot melting pot that’s been cooked up in recent history, combining soul, rock and roll, hardcore, garage, and punk into one sweeping blur of heavily bassed and wonderfully brash rock.” – The Stranger
The Redwood Plan have burst onto the Seattle music scene with riffs and hooks to make you move. The band has garnered rave reviews and a loyal following from their highly-acclaimed full length debut, "Racing Towards the Heartbreak", as well as their enthusiastic live performances known to get audiences dancing.
"Racing Towards the Heartbreak" showcases The Redwood Plan's talents from the epic opening track, "Low Key", to the riffs and hooks of "How the Game is Played" that have gained The Redwood Plan a notable following across the country.
The Redwood Plan features vocalist/keyboardist/guitarist Lesli Wood, best known as the charismatic frontperson of Ms. Led, along with bassist Larry Brady, guitarist Sydney Stolfus, and drummer Betty ST. Wood brings her high-energy showmanship and in-your-face lyrics to The Redwood Plan’s groove-heavy stylings. All veteran musicians, the members’ accomplishments include extensive tours in the U.S. and Europe and features in Time Out New York, Venus Zine, The Advocate, and Devil in the Woods. Collectively, the band's chemistry is undeniable in creating a unique and addictive sound.
Amongst buzz from press and radio alike, The Redwood Plan hit the ground running with high energy performances to packed venues and national festivals from Seattle's Capitol Hill Block Party and Bumbershoot to Austin's SXSW, charting at no. 1 on KEXP's Northwest Charts (and 9 in the KEXP Variety Charts), and landing opening slots for national acts such as !!!, The Ettes, Corin Tucker, Seaweed, and Ida Maria. John Richards (KEXP, Seattle Sound) referred to the band as, "just the kind of energy and attitude the Seattle scene was missing. The debut ep blew me away". Megan Seling (107.7FM, The Stranger) calls the band, "one of Seattle's newest and greatest dance punk bands". "Racing Towards the Heartbreak" was voted amongst the Top 90.3 Albums of 2010 by KEXP listeners. Their 2nd ep, Movers Shakers Makers, was named one of KEXP's Top 90.3 Albums of 2009.
The band worked with producer Martin Feveyear at Jupiter Studios on their two ep's and full length debut. Their work is a collection of sharp, dancey hooks with a heavy dose of energy for fans of You Say Party We Say Die, The Faint, Q and Not U and Ting Tings.
2011 brings The Redwood Plan back to SXSW with a limited edition single, "Green Light Go", as they showcase an increasingly more electronic sound while maintaining their pop hooks and angular guitar riffs. The band plans to release their second full length in summer, 2011.

Panama Gold is a rock n' roll quartet based in Seattle, WA. Their collective sound celebrates the highs and lows of 60’s garage rock and late 70’s post-punk with the vocal delivery and soul of early Rolling Stones, Doors and Stax recordings. Panama Gold’s high energy sentiment, songwriting and stage show are equally rooted in the moment. And what a moment it’s been: In less than a year, Panama Gold went from an idea of songwriter Damien Goyenechea, to forming their own label Madcap Records, releasing several singles, an eponymously named EP and playing dozens of well-received shows at Northwest venues such as The Sunset Tavern, High Dive, Slims, and Hell's Kitchen. Panama Gold has begun to cement their notoriety around the Seattle music scene; if the past is any indication, the months to follow will be equally fleeting.
